Seafood & Wine Festival logo Amateur Wine Competition
Rules for Entry
  1. 1. A Complete registration from must be submitted with each wine entry.

  2. 2. Each entry will consist of: One (1) completed registration form, One (1) bottle (750ml) of selected wine to compete, and $5.00. Please make payment to the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce.

  3. 3. The Variety and Category of Competition entered should be clearly marked on the front of the bottle, they will be on display at the Seafood and Wine Festival.

  4. 4. Your name should be clearly labeled on the bottom or side of the bottle.
    Bottles without proper identification will be disqualified.

  5. 5. Blind Judging will be conducted by a panel of judges.
    Gold, Silver, and Bronze will be awarded along with one "Best of Show."

  6. 6. Wines entered in the wrong category will be disqualified.

  7. 7. Display bottles can be picked up at 3:30pm on Sunday February __, 2011.

  8. 8. Results of the competition will be mailed to all participants shortly after the festival.

  9. 9. Please do not enter wines that have been previously judged in this competition.

  10. 10. Remember each entry must have a complete registration from. All entries must be received by the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce no later than Friday, January __, 2011, and to a Drop Site NO LATER THAN JANUARY __, 2011.
