Newport Chamber's Hospitality Committee Announces 2010 Employee of the Year

NEWPORT, Oregon – The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce Hospitality Committee is pleased to announce 2010 Employee of the Year: Ed Tsui, Head Bartender for the Embarcadero Resort Hotel.
Ed was the Chamber Hospitality Committee's selection for Employee of the Month in January 2010.
Each month the committee selects a nominee to be employee of the month based on the following criteria:
Knowledge of the Area, Friendliness, Quality of Service and Role Model for other employees.
The Employee of the Year is selected from the pool of 12 and was announced at the "2010 Know your Newport" Tradeshow and Seminar
which was held on May 19rd at the Shilo Inn Oceanfront Hotel.
The 12 Employees of the Month for 2009-2010 were:
- June 2009 – Kathy Bavaro of Lin-Com 911;
- July 2009 – Chelsey Remington of Dogport;
- August 2009 – Christie Meister of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office;
- September 2009 – Ric Rabourn of the Hallmark Resort;
- October 2009 – Tina Strode of Elizabeth Street Inn;
- November 2009 – Judy Eames of Lincoln County Board of Commissioners;
- December 2009 – Donna Carter of OSU Federal Credit Union;
- January 2010 – Ed Tsui of Embarcadero Resort & Marina;
- February 2010 – Kathy Buisman of OSU Extension;
- March 2010 – Bob Bergeron of Agate Beach Golf Course;
- April 2010 – Josie Thompson of Premier Title of Oregon and
- May 2010 – Teresa Hill of West Coast Bank, Newport North Branch.
