Greater Newport Chamber Awards January 2010 Beautification Winners at January 22nd Luncheon

NEWPORT, Oregon – The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce awarded January 2010 Beautification Location Awards to the South Branch of West Coast Bank and The Embarcadero Resort at the Friday, January 22nd Chamber Luncheon, held at the Best Western Agate Beach Inn.
West Coast Bank is located on Highway 101 at the South end of Newport and presents an eye-pleasing, well-maintained coastal landscape. It is filled with evergreen coastal pine trees that give this bank a neat clean and green appearance. West Coast Bank is recognized for maintaining a year-round landscape.
At the far east end of Newport's Historic Bayfront, the Embarcadero Resort has created a "coastalscape" that gives the feeling of a rocky shoreline and waving beach grass. This beautiful landscape is clean & inviting for all visitors and residents alike. The Embarcadero has also made improvements to their condominiums, with remodeling and beautiful new cedar siding.
The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce congratulates our January 2010 Beautification Winners. The monthly winners are eligible for the Beautification Location of the Year Award, which is presented during the Chamber's annual awards banquet in June. The Chamber's Beautification Committee welcomes nominations for members and non-members.
