Introducing Chef's Corner

 NEWPORT, Oregon – The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce will be showcasing one local chef each month on our website and in our Communiqué newsletter.
Sunny Golden, Tourism Director at the Chamber, says, "Chef's Corner is a great way for the community to get to know our local Chefs, get helpful kitchen tricks from the professionals, and collect some fabulous new recipes! I would encourage everyone to visit the Chamber's Website and check it out under the Restaurant Week link."
For the month of March, our featured Chef is Eric McElroy from the Shilo Restaurant located on Elizabeth Street. Chef Eric has been dazzling dinners at the Shilo for the past year, but is no stranger to the kitchen as he began his career at the age of eighteen.
